His age and his baggage. His age because the electorate is younger--he's a different generation, one the world is moving on from.

Hillary was crucified for giving speeches at Goldman Sachs; Biden has been in bed with the credit card business for a long time. How's that going to go over with the younger generations?

I wish he wasn't running, too.

I don't care a thing about his age.

He is on YouTube stating his position on the youth vote. He is definitely and unequivocally dismissive of it.

I really don't think a person who has that position should be POTUS.

I'm willing to listen. Many of the others cannot beat trump.

And Bernie disqualified himself the other day by taking the position that terrorists who are in prison for murdering people should be allowed to vote.

Also, I have decided that Harris is as dumb as a bag of hammers. She fumbled the question about letting the Boston bombers vote. Whenever she is off script, she blurts out the 1st thought that enters her dim brain

I know that Quirt has some unstated reservations about her, and I am starting to wonder if the reservations are legitimate ones about her fundamental intellect.

I'd vote for him in the general, but I'm not too excited about him because I've never thought he'd get through the primary. I am bothered by his age.

FWIW I wasn't a fan in 88 and he was probably my third choice in 2008.

The plagerism scandal that took him down in 1988 was no joke. He was quoting a British politician, RFK, and JFK without attribution. Who does that? He had committed plagerism in college, IIRC. Of course, it all came to light. His response, the one I saw, was to insist that he had done nothing unusual, let alone anything wrong.

Never heard that one before. I haven't paid any attention to Harris, so I can't comment. But I take your observation seriously.

Even if you're blurting out the first thing that comes into your brain, how could that lead you to say that convicted felons still doing time should have the right to vote? A) It's not at all obvious why voting rights should be pushed that far, and B) It's politically dumb as a stick to say something like that. Who is the constituency for it? The constituency against is, oh, probably 98% of the population if they think about it.

Like it or not, Bernie is the populist answer to Trump. I don't think he'd be an effective president--id go for Warren over Sanders--but he might be our best hope to oust Trump. He's got an enormous war chest built from tiny donations. That is surely indicative of a huge wave of public support.

Bernie is a socialist and therefore Trump’s wettest dream. Bernie cannot win, especially after that horrific stance in an effort to win the votes of felons who can’t vote.

We have to defeat Bernie, folks.
