Just read in the guardian , that 100.000 US-covid-deaths are a "good job" (of his handling of the corona crisis). What does he call South Koreas disease management then (10.000 cases, 160 dead as of march 30th in a population of 50 mil)? Superhuman? Bestest? Miraculous? Bigliest? Fake news? S. Koreas numbers would be equivalent to about 70.000 cases and 1120 dead in the US in about three weeks time. Or 16.000 cases and 240 dead in Germany. You and us surpassed these numbers quite a while ago... I thought 100.000 american lives would be worth more than a shrug and a "well done". Stay healthy and all the best to you.

Remarkable, isn't it? Welcome to our world. That Guardian article summarizes things very well. You just need to remember two things: 1) Everything he does is perfect and brilliant. 2) If things go south, it's someone else's fault.

Here's his MO: 1. Ignore experts 2. Make a stupid decision 3. Adults override his decision (e.g., mayors, governors) 4. Things improve because his decision was overridden 5. Take credit for improvements he "always knew how to fix" 6. Call experts "idiots" because they said things were going to be so much worse than they are 7. Yell at the media for buying in to the "hoax" EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Not just now.

Deny he said things that are on video. (And sue PACs that use that video in ads.) Blame someone else (usually Obama) for creating the mess. (If he inherited a mess, he's had three years to fix it.)
