CHASThe test was negative.
My grumpitude is also negative. Feel as thought I started the bad part of a cold yesterday. A new phase in the course of this %^&* that started Wednesday.

RealPlayerFeel better, Chas. High-proof alcohol helps (I've found) at least palliatively.

Thank you all very much. The above suggestion was a good one before I became disqualified for such.
Thanks

kluursHope you’re doing better. I had something like what you described. It lasted 3 weeks. Hang in there.

jodiI’m sorry, I hope you feel better soon!
Slight hijack: I swear I’ve had more colds this winter than I’ve had since COVID. (Maybe some of them were covid!)
major hijack:
And Steve lost his smell a few months ago - he’s having a really hard time with it (apparently it’s happening to others - loss of smell long after you’ve recovered from covid). He recently purchased some essential oils - a treatment some doctor is doing in the UK - he’s supposed to smell each of the four (lemon, clove, rose, tea tree) a few times a day - to try to reset his brain.

AdagioMChas, hoping your crud just up and disappears soon!
Jodi, I’m sorry about Steve’s sense of smell. Does he still have a sense of taste? I know they’re related. Mr. AM doesn’t have a sense of smell (med side effect, never came back) but he can taste food.
01 February 2022, 03:32 PM
jodiIt’s messed up his taste too, says he doesn’t much feel like eating.

Oh, I’m so sorry. Food is such a big pleasure in our lockdown lives; it must be terrible to not have an interest in it.

Steve MillerChas, how are you feeling?
Sorry to hear that Steve lost his sense of smell - and two years after recovery!

Let’s hope this side effect doesn’t become widespread.

DanFeel better man.
Hallmark movies are absolutely stupid, but also mind-numbingly enjoyable. Try the "Good Witch" movies. There's 6 or 8 of them.
