Me too, but I'm not panicking.
.

The CindySphinx guide to weight loss has one simple rule:

If it took a year of lockdown to gain the weight, it will take 2-3 years to lose the weight -- if you want to keep it off, that is.

As of today, I've lost the lockdown weight, although the CindySphinx Rule makes me despair of keeping it off. But I shall persevere.

Now I need to lose the writing-3.5-books-in-2-years weight. After that, I need to lose the grad school weight and I'll be at my goal. I'm not going to live long enough to roll back those years at the CindySphinx Rule rate, so the goal may remain elusive.

I've lost around 30 lbs, which was my goal. I've read Obesity Code and Why We Get Fat. Next up will be Steven's book.

I think the things that worked for me - cutting out sugar, flour and snacks have helped me the most though I am doing the IF with skipping breakfast.

When I was younger, I'm certain that the huge amount of physical activity I was doing helped to lose and keep the weight off. Huge meant 2-3 hours of cardio/strength training every day plus 6 hours on Saturdays.

I've lost about 40 pounds using a combination of intermittent fasting and drastic carb reduction. But I've been stuck in place at that weight for a while. I'd love to lose 20 more pounds, ideally.

I could probably benefit from a little bit of panic. I might actually do something if I were a bit panicked...

That much exercise would seriously cut into my sloth time.

No question. This is our front door (TRUE).
