Looks like some classic text, possibly referencing the Han dynasty/era. I do not know which book it came from, but I also do not see anything "offensive" in there, so I guess at the very least you can keep that on your face without worrying about the text offending anyone. Smiler

Yikes! I can't read Chinese to begin with, but I always forget how "difficult" Chinese characters look with the hiragana used in amongst the characters in Japanese writing.

Thanks, Ax! I can always wear it with the stars on the outside, but I wanted to make sure it wasn’t saying something I didn’t agree with! I’ve had it for about 15 years, so I was pretty sure it wasn’t currently political. Although, what goes around comes around!

Chinese characters in Chinese are "hanzi".

Chinese characters in Japanese are "kanji".

Coincidence?
