Has Achieved Nirvana |
I’ve patched many walls over the years but lately I’ve had trouble getting them right. Nothing seemed to work - fancy new spackles, my old standby drywall mud, nothing came out right. Patching compounds wouldn’t level, wouldn’t stick, and the patches wouldn’t sand. This house has been particularly frustrating. I finally figured it out. It’s these new washable paints. They’re formulated to keep stuff from sticking to them - things like patching compound. Touch sand the area before patching and everything works like it used to.
