jodiShingles shot.
Had it this morning, felt ok til tonight, now I can’t sleep, feel shivery and hot at the same time.

I got shingles before vaccines were available. Took me a few days to figure out what was happening (it was on my head rather than the more typical torso presentation), but I got on an antiviral within three days and the actual disease was just an annoyance.
With Mr wtg, he got on antivirals within 12 hours of feeling some stinging on the back of his neck, and the med stopped the virus dead in its tracks. He never even got the pustules.
