I'm from the Midwest and have never heard of this particular flavor of ice cream. Even if I had seen it I would have been unlikely to try it because of its unnatural (for food) color. But the description of the flavor is a bit intriguing...

Chocolate Shoppe has outlets around here. I'll have to find one and try this stuff out, just for grins.

Never tried it. Dont remember it either (born and raised in central Illinois, maybe too far south of this?) The only weird ice cream I ever liked was bubblegum. I usually get something with chocolate and caramel in it.
