FYI...I've turned in my moderator hat here on groupee as of a few days ago.

I will stay on as an occasional poster, so you aren't completely rid of me!

I'll probably be posting here until the lights go out.

All the haywire software going sucks but I like being able to type in a space resembling an 8" x 11" piece of paper.

I don't have a printer and this is as close as I can get until I finish my office.

I like to explore topics in some depth. Sometimes I like to ramble.

The new site is most impressive though and I'm enjoying learning how to use it. One thing I plan to do there is to start posting pictures again.

I'll get to the other site eventually. I just haven't had much to post about lately. Not ignoring you folks!

Just saw your registration request at Beta and approved it. You should be good to go to finish setting up your user ID over there.

I try to check this forum a few times a day, and my PMs at least once a day. If you run into any issues with your Beta registration, post something here at groupee and I'll try to sort things out.

Well, I was wrong. I didn't expect everyone to move to the new forum.

I'm really a creature of habit. I've never liked change.

Moving to a new platform is a minor change.

I suppose an irony of my life so far is the fact I don't like change and my life has been marked by remarkable changes in relatively rapid succession since I very young.

I like being able to edit again. It's great. I like having features and capabilities I can learn.

Ax, you did a great job in choosing the platform. Thank you for having the insight and the willingness.

Here I feel almost like a kid who's home alone.

I feel the freedom to explore almost any topic. I mean theoretically. I don't know if I'll take another deep dive into one but I like having the option.

I've seen fora disappear many times. I'd have concentrate intensively to remember all of them.

It would probably give me a headache.

But, I'll probably be here, if I can, until the inevitable happens.
