I'm sure there will be apologists who will try to explain away yesterday's coronavirus briefing.

They're nuts, too.

That is a remarkable statement.

During his briefing today, Cuomo is quoting Hamilton regarding the power of states vs the federal government.

Also addressing Trump's tweets regarding the mutinying governors and giving him a lesson about acting responsibly. Says he thinks Trump is hankering for a fight and that he isn't going to get it from Cuomo. Cuomo just wants to solve problems as they come up and looks forward to working with the federal government to do exactly that.

Cuomo, one of the grown ups in the room.

I will NEVER forget (from among his everso many wild pronouncements) his responding that he would give himself a 10 - ten being best - for his handling of the coronavirus crisis. Eeker

I am a glutton for punishment and watched it live....whoa...unhinged.

I have been trying to tune in to at least have it on in the background so I don't have to depend on edited snippets later.

Have it queued up again today, still waiting. It is now 6:16pm..was supposed to start at 5pm.

Watching the backs of everyone's heads while they wait..and wait...

sigh...

Edit...Here we go..right off..a prepared speech on how bad the WHO is and how right he is...

Both remarkably scary and remarkably ignorant. He obviously needs a basic lesson in how the US works, state and federal levels of government. This, after 3+ years as president. VeryAngry

And today he is walking it all back..saying he is 'working' with governors...Has come up with a plan (but the gov's already did that!)

Have to say he read a long list..like corporate sponsors...named companies and CEO's..I thought it would not end..not sure what that was about but..

They have money and share in the market I guess..that is all that matters...

Never mentioned the folks he met with today who had suffered from COVID..just talked about how he was right that all those ventilators were not needed..

If you get a chance, do log in to the full thing...the news snippets really don't show the whole **** show in reality..really..

Just google White House Task Force and the date..that will get you to a few sites that stream it..My favs are the ones (Not the WH) that have the set up long before where you can see and hear the reporters and camera folks chatting...The camera/tech guys wear masks..just sayin.

He should have learned this in 8th grade. Probably at the time they had to send him to the "military academy."

I stopped watching him about two weeks after the election. The campaign rallies were intolerable. These briefings are probably worse. I guess it help that I don't like watching TV.

To be honest, for me it's not worth the investment in time to watch the federal briefing. I can read about what Fauci and Birx said elsewhere. Whatever Trump has to say has about zero value.

Cuomo's briefings, OTOH, are *way* worth the time. Useful information, clearly presented. Well thought out.
