Had a houseful, including two 2 year olds and three dogs. It was a great weekend but I’m looking forward to some peace and quiet.

Pretty busy weekend... Had a few tunings, a family BBQ fundraiser a few towns away, and another family outdoor gathering a few towns away in another direction as California folks came for a visit. Downtown Chicago (where we live) has launched into the summer busy season with an outdoor Latin music festival, Coldplay was at Soldier Field (football stadium nearby) with other parades and things happening. In other words, there was lots of traffic!

3 rounds of golf in 3 days. Cookout, piano and guitar playing, yesterday here with our friends. I told my buddy to let his new Yamaha digital piano record his original compositions into a MIDI file so I can get a transcription. I would like to add some bass, drum and guitars to what is a cool, very jazzy/bluesy composition. | |||

 It was super quiet on our street all weekend. House next door is unoccupied, and three other families were gone for the weekend. I did a bunch of decluttering and worked in the yard for short stints (too much heat and humidity for me). So, life as usual! Happy campers here....are celebrating Mr wtg's birthday today and going for haircuts....
