CHASMountain Lion Attacked Dog
This happened at a house "adjacent" to a school I walk and pedal by frequently. It is to the north. Another pet was attacked too close to the south recently.
Mountain Lion attacks Labrador The willows by the river are very close to my front door. Will be putting the dog out on the big balcony at bedtime. Will clean it in the morning.

Piano*DadYep, we've got 'em in our Santa Fe neighborhood as well. I really don't go walking alone in the neighborhood at night.

CHASHave not seen a mountain lion since around 2004. It was near my previous place.
I wonder how many have seen me. Have been taking a dog out at night most nights for 20+ years.

piquéA friend got body armor for her jack russell terriers. It's a coat with spikes sticking out all over it. I'll see if I can find a picture. With these jackets on she feels comfortable letting the dogs roam her 25 acres by themselves.

CHASShowed that to Duncan.
Said he would refuse to wear the pink one.
Thanks. I put a harness on him. He seemed to hate it. He acted very withdrawn.
