Quit drinking and started AA ten years ago. Life has been much better since. Would celebrate at a meeting, but the meetings are in a small room in a church basement. Masks are required, but it is hard to get some to wear masks and air circulation is nil. Bob, Don, and I are celebrating with takeout from the closest upscale restaurant at noon. Bob is buying!!!!

I am particularly impressed you were able to stick with it for the last year and a half. I’ve never been much of a drinker myself but I’ve considered going the other direction here during the pandemic…

Thank you. Did a lot of AA meetings on Zoom. Those ended when the pandemic "ended". WTF???
