RIP Honor Blackman
She was very talented as well as a knockout.

My brother was big into Avengers (reruns), so I knew her as Cathy Gale. She is probably better known to most as ***** Galore. [huh... well... that would be P u s s y G a l o r e]

Rest well, dear woman. You were a gem.

I can't believe she was 94.

She was 39 when Goldfinger was filmed. Oldest Bond "girl" ever. She was five years older than Connery.

Extraordinary.

But Madonna was the oldest bond "girl." She was 44 when she was the bond girl in Die Another Day (2002).

I looked up their age difference too when I first read the news of Ms. Blackman’s passing.

Goldfinger was the first Bond movie I saw. I was in college then and six of us crammed into a Yellow Cab to go downtown where it was opening.

Great memories. RIP Ms. Blackman.
