We have a mail order foam mattress. Very comfortable. First few nights were intolerably hot. Quick Google search suggested covering mattress with a wool blanket, under the bottom sheet. Worked completely.

When my old mattress wore out and I started to have back pain, I ordered a Casper. When it got here, I thought it was too soft, but I've adapted, and have had no back pain since.
