Lots going on.
Juan Guaidó, the leader of the parliament, declared himself the interim president in a street protest yesterday. The US and several other nations decided to recognize that.
Venezuela has ordered the US diplomatic staff to leave, the US says 'former president Maduro' lacks the authority to do that.
Something to pay attention to.

Piano*DadThe US seems to be laying a trap for Maduro. It's interesting, but very risky (sounds like a Trump specialty). We don't recognize Maduro's authority to declare our diplomats personae non gratae. So, if Maduro does nothing, he is weakened internally. If he arrests or otherwise mucks with our personnel, we can claim casus belli and act militarily.

True. Elliott Abrams (who should be in jail, in my opinion, for his role in Iran-Contra and lying to Congress) is back at it. These people need to just go away.
