What is a Bitcoin "key"?

It's basically the password to the wallet where the Bitcoin is held. There are two keys for every wallet ... a public key, that allows people to identify the sender or recipient, and a private key, which allows the owner access to the wallet. It's just blockchain language. You can think of it as a password. A long, complicated password. | |||
