The big deal in Hawaii was Albertsons. Here it's Publix.

I got my first job when I was 15 at an A&P. I cleaned the butchers' area and stocked shelves.

This was back in the day when they made you join the union. Lol.

I also had to join the Union. Cut my hair, too.

Mostly tore up boxes on the 3 AM to noon shift.

For $2.17.5 per hour.
