One of my favorite dressings is a glug of mirin, an equal glug of rice vinegar, a small glurp of sesame oil, several large dashes of furikake, and a reasonable quantity of wasabi powder (I like a lot). A couple brands like Urashima have a seto (shaved bonito) furikake with no added MSG or salt. I have sometimes made my own furikake by chopping up sushi nori, shaved bonito, and toasted sesame seeds, but it's a lot of work.

Put this over a bowl of leafy greens and whatever else you want on a salad, and viola! Asian angle noms.

Oh, and when I can steal onion tops, I chop up an onion top. Or a whole spring onion or scallion. Yum!
