I just got back from a short shopping trip to Aldi. It's 11 am, the temp is 90 and the dew point is 75. We're heading for a high of almost 100. Same tomorrow. I know these stats are nothing compared to some areas of the country, but they're still brutal. I'm heading for the lower level after lunch to go through some more stuff.... edit: This was the storm that blew through last night and brought this delightful weather to us: https://www.nbcchicago.com/new...thout-power/2856797/

That’s even hotter than it here in N. Alabama! I think we’re at 93 and 73 degree dew point and it like nothing I’ve ever encountered.

The worst part of the storm was just a few miles to the south/southwest of my town. We got a lot of rain but the wind and hail missed us. From what I've seen, I think kluurs escaped the worst of it also. Bellwood, the town that was in the article I posted previously, is west of him by a few miles. This area is slightly south/southwest of him, and they got hammered, including Brookfield Zoo. https://www.rblandmark.com/202...ree-property-damage/
