GA runoffs
With 45% of the vote in the Dems are both up by ~9 pts.

Anyone know if this is representative? Or are we expecting a red shift as the night goes on?

The numbers we're seeing right now are early voting, both in person and absentee ballot. That's gonna skew Dem and the GOP is expected to narrow the margin as they count today's votes.

The spread is more like 6 percent at this point rather than 9.

CNN is looking at a few key counties and the Dems are looking pretty good. With 80 percent of the vote counted in two counties in the Atlanta metro area, Ossoff and Warnock are both running way ahead of what Biden got in November in those areas. Something like 7 percent more.

It's gonna be interesting for sure.

Well, there's always the ... needle. Pointing slightly to Ossoff and a bit more strongly for Warnock. In contrast to the general election, more of the same day vote is coming in later.

Actually, Loeffler and Perdue have surged into the lead ...

Only because of a dump of votes from GOP-leaning districts.

NYT doesn't expect the R's lead to hold.

Because the bulk of remaining votes are from Dekalb, Fulton, Chatham, and other blue areas.

Let's hope Hugo Chavez and Doninion come through for us again and they have another water main break so that unnamed woman can scan all the democrat ballots three times.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the dems both won by 11,779 votes?

Well, paint the Senate blue!

Mitch McConnell is going to have one heckuva interesting day today.

The number of votes in the two elections is virtually identical, but Warnock's margin is significantly bigger. So just who are the people who voted for Warnock AND Perdue. And why?
