Our cable and internet went down this morning. Tried to get to Xfinity's website using my cell phone, but their website was down.
Mr wtg has an old AM transistor radio that he listens to in the morning. This morning when he turned the radio on there was no sound. He assumed the battery had died, but suddenly the station came back and they reported a story that said they were offline for a while due to a Comcast outage.
Will be interesting to see what happened....

Comcast, an American telecommunications conglomerate, is down across the U.S., leaving tens of thousands of customers without internet access.
More than half of the reports posted on social media note a total blackout, while the rest are unable to use landline internet or email.
The crash appears to have started around 8:12am ET and is hitting costumers along the West Coast and Midwest and some reports are surfacing on the East Coast.
Comcast, which owns the popular Xfinity internet, phone and television service, has yet to reveal what is causing the outage or when issues will be fixed.
