| A long time friend from my hometown and I went to the same university. He heard that Ike and Tina and the Peachettes were playing the Moon Valley Club outside of town. We saw them there several times. I recall the cops coming in the door one night. We went out the window of the ladies room. I remember pushing my date's derriere out the window. We were underage. We were always the only whites in the crowd.
