No outlet needed for the simple versions.

Some have a hot water hookup. If your bathroom sink or other hot water supply is convenient, you can mix the hot and cold water to your desired temperature.

We have both, 3 ar cold water only and 2 have the hot water line connection in bathrooms that have reasonable access to the hot water line.

The one I use the most is just cold water. And it's fine. And we have well water so it's probably colder than city water.

Ok, I will have to revisit this idea. Mr SK actually would love to have a bidet, they are very common in Japan, along with the fancy toilets with all kinds of bells and whistles, starting with heated seats.

I have encountered those fancy toilets here:

80 rolls of Scott commercial grade from Amazon today.

One less thing to worry about.

I started tracking toilet paper usage rate for one of my bathrooms since January.
I did not have COVID-19 in mind when I started tracking, just serendipitous curiosity.
It turns out that that bathroom goes through roughly one Charmin "Mega" roll every 2 weeks, or roughly one Charmin something-or-other roll every 7 days.

These guys seems to have a lot in stock.

I bought the $99 non electric seat. It is an excellent product.

Look at the non-electric models

Quite simply, I was curious how long a roll of toilet paper would normally last in my bathroom. In various stores they keep advertising/selling "double rolls" and "triple rolls" and "mega rolls". I was also curious to know how much longer one type of roll might outlast another type of roll.

Someone with a bidet has no use for this data. Wink

Not even for pat dry? Air dry? Blow dryer? How does this work?

Also, very low tech option. I had completely forgotten about the peri bottle! Any water bottle would do.
