CHASHave gotten the pneumonia vaccines because of asthma.
It was not the latest one.

AdagioMI got my first shingles vax before my insurance would pay for it. I had had shingles, and didn’t want to get it again.
Got the newer shingles vax when that became available, and it was covered by my insurance at that time.
I don’t let insurance coverage decide whether or not I’ll get something.
