My only question is whether she can beat Trump. Hopefully, she will find a way to reconcile that inconsistency or maybe someone else will get the nomination and beat Trump.

M4A has almost become a meaningless phrase. For some, it means abandoning ACA entirely and going to a national healthcare system. For others it means the option of medicare + private. For others it means mandatory M + private.
I think healthcare is a huge issue for most voters. The GOP's relentless strategy of round after round of attacks on the ACA (with no alternative, as Mik points out) is a loser and has been for several years now. The ongoing attacks on ACA seem to be just spite now.
So the solution may not be M4A, but the GOP has no credibility and no answers to what is one of the biggest issues in the upcoming election.

Indeed. At this point there is little reason to trust in what either party says on the subject, with the GOP holding the worst end of it. White House and both houses and they couldn’t do anything but tear down.

Not that I have paid much attention to Harris, I just never get the sense that strategy or policy, or keeping things intellectually consistent or even just coherent for that matter, is her strong suit.
