Rot is everything with old trailers like this. Check everything carefully, especially the floors. That said, more modern units with proper sanitary facilities are a lot more comfortable.

Sweet. My ex had a 1956 Aloha that was nearly identical. Mr Jodi needs a project, right? This one should be fairly simple to get it usable... and there's unlimited potential to do a lot more... you can kinda take it in any direction. I think the best thing on this is that the floor looks like it's just plywood. No linoleum or vinyl to hide any rot. The most common area for rot is by the door. For someone like Mr. Jodi, it's a pretty easy job to fix. BTW, I have a complete propane light fixture I might be willing to part with. It came out of a 1960s Aristocrat.

A guy I know has a canned ham trailer like that. He and his husband painted it blue and added white clouds. They use it at Burning Man gatherings and the like. They have a million dollar plus home near here and at least two other homes. They could afford whatever they want.

There was a 1978 BMW motorcycle on CL near my house. The ad said it "ran when parked in 2007". It looked like it was all there with the exception of tubes between the air filter and the carbs (replaced with that paper-covered foil slinky stuff like VW used). It looked like a good project. I had a time set up to go look at it at noon last Saturday. The night before, the seller sent me a text and said someone else just bought it.
