I've noticed it since I first moved here. I've even been burned by it, thinking 'I'll sit on that wall over there' just to find out it has spikes on it.


I've also wondered how depressing it must be for homeless people to see it. Like christ, they won't even let me sleep here???


I confess I've also wondered just how bad it would be if it wasn't there. There are a few places I've seen in the city that don't have it, or at least didn't - one in Riverside park, for instance. It basically became a homeless camp.
