Has Achieved Nirvana |
https://www.slashfilm.com/1330...e-way-keep-it-alive/ I had to stop reading mid way through because my brain was about to explode. All I want is TCM and The Tennis Channel on my phone. Is this too much to ask?

I love TCM but haven't had access to it for several years, since Xfinity moved it from the channel lineup we have to some "Sports and More" add-on. It would have been another $15 a month, so we took a pass. Every so often I check around to see if it's available as a separate streaming channel, but....nada. I really miss it. The article is right about the TCM-curated section of MAX (formerly HBOMax). It's a poor substitute for the real thing.

Thanks for reminding me about TCM. It's available on YouTubeTV and I went ahead and added 20 or so movies to 'record' over the next week or so. YouTube TV is pricy but has lots of content.

Since TCM has been in the news, I checked our cable lineup, and we do get it. Not as MAX or anything, but as its own channel. Amazing that there are no ads interrupting, and intelligent commentary between films. Now I may become a regular. Has anyone tried Projectr, which is a movie streaming service you get through your local library?

Hadn't heard of Projectr. https://play.projectr.tv/ My library doesn't seem to subscribe, but we do have access to Kanopy, another library streaming service. https://www.kanopy.com/en Criterion Channel is another movie streaming service that you can just sign up for (not through a library). Not cheap. https://www.criterionchannel.c...t/subscribe/purchase
