The decor is a mess, except for the TV room and the bedroom. The laundry is too far from the bedrooms. $52M and only a two-car garage? The kitchen is boring. It'll be underwater in 50 years. Other than that it's fine.

There are parts I like that would require redecorating. Would prefer it on an inland lake far from hurricane territory and future rising water levels

I think I don't like those rabbits, to start with....

Rabbits? I’ll have to revisit. Don’t remember them

Ok, rabbits. They remind me of Metropole, a restaurant adjacent to the Contemporary Arts Center. They have these 4’ tall bright yellow plastic penguins the servers move around from table to table. They have no real purpose, but they are there.

I’d love to rent it and I’d hate to own it.

Good point. My guess is that the neighbors are obnoxious.

I would have expected him to live in a restored Victorian mansion. Or even something earlier. This is...what I would expect in a place where very wealthy older people have retired to Florida. It's a little bit mid-century, but dated and not the cool kind. It's been updated over the years, so it feels hodge-podgey. The location makes it fabulously expensive, and it also ensures that the property value will go to nothing very soon. I was recently in Palm Beach and the traffic is breathtaking. Imagine getting on and off those residential islands for any purpose whatsoever. They probably do a lot of the getting-around by boat, and I guess they have servants to schlep their groceries and such around. I'm sure it's been a fun place for him to live, and the social life is probably scintillating if you're into that, but it's not what I would have expected.
