Jack Thomas, the former Boston Globe reporter who wrote powerfully and poignantly last year about receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis, died Sunday at his Cambridge home at the age of 83, the Boston Globe reports.
His death comes a little more than a year after his essay, “I just learned I only have months to live. This is what I want to say,” was published in the Sunday Globe Magazine.
