The more I read about climate change the more I want to stay at near 9000 feet in the Rockies.

I'm surprised they don't put Phoenix on the list, particularly since ASU has some of the largest heat island research programs. The heat island phenomenon has been common knowledge in Phoenix for decades. When I was a kid, we used to actually turn off the A/C at night throughout much of the summer. Now, it can be well over 100 degrees at midnight.

Glad I got a place in Santa Fe! Not at 9,000, mind you, but 7,300 is darn high enough. I'm huffing and puffing for a while after we get there.
