CHAS I did not play all night, although I wanted to!!!
Thank you Dan and Klurrs! I am so excited. Every time I come home my heart gives a little leap to see the piano sitting there!
Re the bench, that's the draw back to buying from a private seller, no options for bench upgrades. I ordered a generic adjustable bench from Amazon (it says free returns, so if it's really crummy, I'll return it).
If that bench doesn't work out, I'll probably buy one of the cheaper benches (i.e., $280) from the Jansen website. Or, if the bench I ordered is merely adequate but not bad enough to need immediate replacement, I'll save up for the top of the line $750 one, AKA the "your-butt-will-thank-you bench."
It's funny to have a very expensive piano and complain about the price of the benches, but here we are.

LLMH makes an adjustable leather.

rontunerI really like the petite artist benches from Jansen - same sturdy construction where it counts in the adjusting part, but lighter weight so it is easier to move about if needed - especially if you chose a duet size!

Ron, thanks for mentioning this, I didn't realize this was an option. But it sounds great, because a real artist bench is super heavy!
Anyway, I just priced it out: $520.35 for high gloss black (non-leather top), spade legs.
Ok, that is a better price than the real artist bench, and probably a better bench than Jansen's imported bench (the $280 one). I think the petit bench will be what I'll aim for. Hopefully I can live with the crappy bench from Amazon (aka CBFA, which is how it shall be forever known!) for say a year. I need to re-line my coffers before I buy anything else!
