It’s really lovely. The picture I used for DOTM last month was taken there.

Went to his exhibition at Dayton Art Institute sometime in the 2000's. Mindblowing. That's a must see when we get to Seattle.

If you ever are near one of the traveling exhibition, they're well worth the visit.

When eldest was finishing his BA in Miami, the Fairchild Garden in Miami had an exhibit.

I certainly hope you'll let me know when you plan to visit.

And you might want to make that in the next year and a half.

We saw some of his work displayed in with the plants at the Phoenix botanical garden.

Beautiful stuff!

Probably much of the same stuff I saw in Miami, since the exhibitions move around.

There's a large permanent Chihuly exhibit at Oklahoma City's art museum. It's quite impressive, but I imagine seeing his glassworks out in a garden would be even more so.

My brother-in-law has a glass piece of his. It was very expensive, and at first some concern there might be a crack in it (there wasn't) because Chihuly regards his pieces as worthless if there's even a small crack in it.

We absolutely will! The child in college in Pacific Northwet has already announced her intention to stay after graduation. I just have to make a plan around Mary Anna's university schedule.
