Maybe he can convince Obama to run as VP?

Biden would have a lot of latitude to select a VP to balance the ticket.

He could select an African-American running mate (Cory, Kamala, Stacey) to rev up that vital portion of the Democratic electorate. If turnout is the key, that might be a very smart move. But Kamala and Corey offer no geographic bump. Biden would win NY and CA with just about anyone on the ticket.

He could select Klobuchar, to appeal to the vital midwest while making a statement for women. Could be especially important if Trump dumps Pence for Haley.

Kamala Harris checks off both of those boxes.
