Was Mnuchin the jackass who made the video about tarriffs and the price of a can of beans while standing in front of one of his yachts?

Or was that a different jackass?

One submits one's federal return (the juicy details) as part of the state return. Does that mean both will be provided by NY?

The Supreme Court will ride to the rescue and decide that federal privacy rights preempt this state law.

Until, of course, they are confronted with a case where privacy rights are inconvenient for conservatives.

Apparently, it doesn't cover the federal returns per se. But it covers the information not counting the federal return itself) contained in the state return, which ought to match up somehow with the federal return.

I had an argument with one Zimmer today on this very subject.

He thinks the court will rise to the occasion and justice will be done. In his defense, he bases a lot and his opinion on the fact that many justices are Catholic. My opinion of Catholics is somewhat less charitable.

I think the Roberts court is a pathetic, and septic, kangaroo court and they will lower themselves in any way required to please Trump and his idiot base. Catholics and all.

We shall see.
