Thanks for posting this, I look forward to reading it....

As to the question in the title I will be so conceited as to answer it before reading the article, I tend to be of the opinion that it is not *languages* which are sexist, but cultures (although the distinction is incredibly complex/subtle). I know there are as many linguists who agree with me as there are those who don't...
