rontunerAs seats have moved closer together, the reclining seat issue for us tall-legged creatures becomes an issue of pain - as my knees touch the upright seat in front of me on some planes!
I try to get exit row - or pay for the bigger space upfront on budget airlines. Or just fly Southwest, which has more space between seats.

CHASHave paid $$ for window seats because I am claustrophobic.
Have been told by passengers without screens to watch to close it. I tell them I made an effort to get that seat and that I am claustrophobic.
Has not gone past that so far.

NinaI've had people yell at me to close my window shade as well. Very annoying.
On my last long flight, they had these groovy light-responsive windows that were shaded (but never full-on dark) in daylight and clear at night. It was great.

MikhailohIf they aren't sitting in the window seat they can just deal with it. Buy a darkening mask. I never tire of the scenery from above (if its clear).
