My Amish belt
I've been replenishing my wardrobe.

I owned an inexpensive black leather belt I bought in Hawaii about ten years ago. I've wanted to replace it for a few years. I didn't find one I liked until I saw this one.

It wanted it, but it took me time to justify the price. I realized belts of similar quality (handmade, high quality leather and hardware, made in the USA) had a similar price point, and one price point down (factory made, decent quality, made in China) would result in saving only about $20.

I put my old belt in the garbage the day FedEx delivered this one.

I'll post their "about us" page link after I make this post.

The pictures do it justice, but don't show the back of it. The brand, Made in the USA, and a five digit unique serial number are stamped into the leather, and the indentations have an applied silver paint.

I bought a pair of Land's End plain front chino shorts. I was on my second pair of Amazon Basics chino shorts and neither of them fit well even though they were the right size. I threw my Amazon Basics chino shorts in the garbage.

I'm buying an organic cotton cardigan from LL Bean. It's $$ but my mind is made up.

I am buying two or three more Peruvian organic cotton shirts. The $39 V neck T shirt I have already is one of the nicest shirts I've owned.

I'll post links to the LL Bean cardigan and to the organic clothing company in Peru. Smiler
