kluursAre you keeping your music CDs?
I keep them. If I listened to pop, I'd probably toss - and go with a service. As I have a heavy classical interest - still a lot that isn't available via the streaming services.
I am transferring a bunch onto a hard drive - but still good to have a back up.

pianojugglerYes. In fact I just bought three more at a chamber music concert.
I ripped hundreds to MP3 about 10 years ago. Now, even MP3 is considered obsolete, so I'm glad I didn't rip 'em all and toss 'em.

AdagioMWe still have about 2000 LPs, and I don’t know how many CDs. CD’s have their own built-in shelves in the sunroom, which we built in 2001. We haven’t purchased many CDs in the last 10 years, but we’re keeping the ones we have.

markjFound this album this weekend for a couple of bucks.
It's in mint condition. Appears to have never been played.
It sounds awesome.

NinaThat record was stolen from our first house in Tempe in about 1988!
(To be totally precise, the turntable was stolen with that record on it.)
Give it back.

NinaForgot to answer the original question: we still have all of ours. I started to upload to itunes but it took forever and I was hearing horror stories about how itunes deleted uploaded music due to some sort of snafu about copyright protection. This was years ago. I mainly listen to stuff on Spotify now, and will listen to CDs only when I have the time and space to really listen. Which is rare....
