I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I still had a red cabbage that I got through my CSA back in early December. Cabbages are durable veggies, though, so this one was still hanging in there. This very simple sweet and sour cabbage recipe turned out really well. The balsamic vinegar was a nice change from the usual apple cider vinegar that's typical in the classic German recipe.
