If you remember, my neighbor, Dick, died of COVID last summer. His family struggled with selling his 1919 home, with all original woodwork, amazing floors but needed a good cleaning and some updating.

Many folks lined up to buy but two buyers were not able to come to the table with the money...The last buyer was a flipper and just four days before the closing, another of the family members died of COVID so they were just done with it all.

We love the family but the buyer? Not so much..First thing he did was cover the place in vinyl siding when a lick of paint would have done...This included covering up all the period trim to make it just a beige box.

They have since been bashing out walls, cutting through the lovely picture framed hardwood floors, tossing vintage doors, sinks into the dumpster.

Not to mention the stupid trailer with company name parked way too far out into the street...A city bus driver even stopped and read the guy the riot act as he was not able to pass by.

So further proof of amateur hour..now that the house is completely sided..NOW they decided to remove and block off a window.. Blink
