Probably too cloudy here to see anything. I’ll be totally jealous of those of you who get a view!

Good news: The skies have cleared and I think we'll get a great view.

Bad news: The lack of cloud cover means it's frickin' cold outside.

Great schedule and description of various eclipse stages:

"Due to the partial government shutdown, the moon will be temporarily cancelled this evening."

The skies have cleared here and the view of the moon is full on. It's -9 and winds up to 30 mph, but I've been going out to catch glimpses of it. Going out in my bathrobe (with a coat of course) it's a bit drafty!! But worth it.

Hello, totality!

Bernard, too funny. Dressed the same as you, just came in because my legs got cold.

Overcast here. All I can see is that the clouds have a red tinge to them. Frowner

Not quite as good as as the real thing, but still not bad. They seem to be showing how it looks from various cities, some with better views than others.

Just went out for another look-see. It's very red/orange now. Very cool.

I think it was up there. Really couldn't make it out with those eclipse glasses on.

Lots of good pictures on the net but this one stands out:

Wow! That's a cool photo, even if it's possibly retouched.

I missed the beginning of the eclipse (too cloudy) but caught a glimpse of the ending here. Nothing nearly as spectacular, at least from my vantage point. Still, it was nice to see it.
