Mr wtg took one of the shingles antivirals a few years ago and it seemed to work very well. He had just the beginnings of the shingles rash on the back of his neck. From what I saw and the sensation he described, I was willing to bet dollars to donuts that he had shingles. That diagnosis was confirmed by the urgent care doc less than 12 hours later. She prescribed the med and it stopped the shingles dead in its tracks; he never even got to the stage where you get the pustules.

Let's hope this one is as good for COVID.
