Shedd Aquarium is closed

And their penguins are taking advantage of it. Apparently they hang around the fish tanks, looking longingly at the fishies.

That’s totally adorable. i have not ever wished as badly as I do now that I was back on our farm in Maine (which is still buried in snow and very much winter). I would have had been able to snow shoe out back hand feed the chickadees and I could have spent half the day sitting in Rico’s stall.

(But in reality, i am very glad we are not still there. Mr Jodi never would have gotten this job, and we never would have sold that house if we were in the middle of all this.
