Ex Mr. Beelady's Aunt ..One of my all time favorite people on earth.

She was a high tech mind before her time and non religious person who worked for a Catholic institution...heh.

And she LOVED gardens..Lilylady would have loved her..

And she was a Musicologist!!

I just have to share as I think Ruth was a person that many of my friends here would have loved to have had the opportunity to meet her.

She sounds extraordinary, BL. I feel for your personal loss too.

I never fail to admire and be uplifted by how you love and are loved by your family by marriage. There are too many who are divided by acrimonious divorces such that extended family aren't appreciated - a great loss. There can never be too much opportunity for love, IMO.

In fact, apart from my children, I regard the great gain of my otherwise very unhappy marriage, as the extended family on ex-'s side. The apple there fell very far from his mostly blooming family tree.

Such a shame especially for my sons that there is such a great geographical distance between us - also a language barrier.
