Here at Chez Mik we are having leftovers. Last night I smoked a 6 lb prime rib roast on the smoker I bought year ago and had not fired up yet. Had a friend over for dinner. Even with the first time using this Good One Open Range it was the best prime rib I ever cooked - perfect medium rare throughout the eye with medium and very smoky cap. Added green beans with blue cheese and walnuts and baked sweet potatoes, and our friend brought a scratch blueberry pie that was incredible.
We're gonna have the exact same thing tonight.
Oh if you can get your hands on some 2017 Three Thieves cabernet give it a try. A lot of wine for a small price. Also the Black Box 2018 Chardonnay is a great value.
