dolmansaxlilI have an appointment!
They lowered the age for AZ vaccine here to 40 effective tomorrow. I managed to snag an appointment at Costco by pure luck. By the time I texted Rob and told him about it there were no more open slots, but he’s on their waiting list!
I’m so relieved! Our provincial government is incompetent to say the least, and things here are NOT good.

They had limited it to 55+ for awhile. But we are deep into a third wave here so Health Canada has stated the benefits outweigh the risks. Ontario and Alberta (the two provinces really struggling) immediately dropped the age to 40.

AxtremusBest of luck, dol.
I looked at the COVID-19 statistics reported on CBC a few days ago and found it scary.
While the USA’s daily new case count peaked late last years, similar statistics for Canada is still reaching for new records!

Qaanaaq-LiaaqThere’s no such thing as an Arizona vaccine. J/K.
I received my second Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine shot last week. No side effects except for a sore upper arm that lasted for about a day. Clinic personnel requested people sit in a waiting room area for 15 minutes after the shot in case of an adverse reaction.
You will be issued a vaccination card proving you got the vaccine. Keep it in a safe place. I suspect this card may be required in the near future to be presented in order to gain admission to public events.
