Hope it remains mild! We passed yesterday on a the traditional xmas day gathering hosted by the unvaxed family with some driving from out of state. Chicago infections have soared over the past week or so. I was concerned when we couldn't seem to get below 300/day - then they crept up to 600ish/day. Reported number on the 20th is over 3800...

And of course, that doesn't include any of the home-test positives!

Anyway, we have a smaller family pod that came over for stockings, presents and plenty of grazing food. The rest of the day was pretty low-key.

Mr SK was remarking that it seems like we're the only people we know acting like there's still a pandemic. I say no, we're not the only ones, but just like us, those who didn't gather aren't posting any photos because we didn't have anything to photograph!
