Might be good news. Trump is unlikely to stump for him.

And in other news, the sky is blue and the grass is green.

Of course Trump is going to attack him.

Through the primaries, for sure.

But if Sessions ends up being the candidate, what does I-1 do then?

Which may be why he hasn't already fired up the Twitter machine.

Although, in the past, he's shown no hesitation about backing one person in the primary, and then a person who he previously described as bad in the general election.

The Twitter machine seems to be aimed in the general direction of the House these days....

Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Thursday that he is running for his old Senate seat from Alabama, with a message in which he addressed head-on his rocky relationship with President Trump.

"When I left President Trump's cabinet, did I write a tell-all book, no," Sessions said in a brief video posted on his website. "Did I go on CNN and attack the president, nope. Have I said a cross word about the president? Not one time and I'll tell you why. First, that would be dishonorable. I was there to serve his agenda, not mine. Second, the president is doing a great job for America and Alabama and he has my strong support."

His little video is the most depressing thirty seconds ever recorded.

Thirty seconds of Sessions f*llating I-1... "please please please let me back in... I promise I won't pee on your rug again... pulllleeeeeeeze? Pretty please?"

Blurg.

Could someone please tell Mister Keebler that having a spine or a shred of integrity is not dishonorable?

Jeffrey Beauregard Sessions III. That’s a lot of baggage right there.

The guy is a caricature of himself.
